What “Selected by Green Racks” means
Our team chooses each item on the manufacturer's published specifications, for running AI inference on hardware you own. It is not a claim that Green Racks has tested the item.
Criteria
Four things every item has to clear
Power headroom
Power supplies sized with headroom for GPU power excursions under ATX 3.1, with native 12V-2x6 connectors where relevant. UPS units sized to ride through and shut down cleanly.
Sustained thermals
Coolers and fans chosen for sustained load, not benchmark bursts. Inference runs for hours; throttling quietly costs throughput.
Memory you can trust
GPUs with ECC memory and enough VRAM for the models people actually run on-premises, with datacentre-appropriate licensing.
A spec sheet you can check
Every item is a real, current model with the manufacturer's spec sheet linked. Where we summarise specs, the sheet is the source of truth.
What the badge isn't
No lab, no stars, no fake urgency
- Not a test result: nothing in the catalogue has been tested by Green Racks
- No star ratings: we don't publish any
- No stock counts: availability and lead times are confirmed in each quote
- No prices until quoted: distributor terms are still being finalised
